For years we have made a link service to both our cable TV and internet. And the terms of the TV service was good. It did not provide millions of channels, but just enough to keep me busy during the few hours a day and watch television - usually the History Channel, Discovery Channel, CNN, ESPN, AMC, Bravo, etc.
The real problem was with the cable.
In theory, the cable is to provide fast Internet connection, but there is a catch -this is true, if you are the only connection to the Internet via cable. They share the lead with others in your area. If there are 100 people on the Internet, especially on the cable line, then there is the power divided in 100. If there are 1000 people online, then it is hacked by 1000. No one says that when the cable connection, but you will soon discover.
The result - there were some nights when we sit in front of our computers and had"The color is dry." The connection speed is slow at times, a scan (especially on weekend evenings) and do not tell you if we have a cable or the good old 56K modem.
Now, after years of delays and hesitation, we signed with a fiber optic service to our TV, and Internet telephony, more or less the same monthly price that we paid more for telephone service on cable. And the installation is free of charge at the top.
We now not only on the same phoneAnd nearly 200 hours of service channels (with the normal package), but also connecting to the Internet and large faster and faster. With more than this you must have your own T-1 line at about $ 1,500 per month.
The implicit do not watch much TV, at first, but I must confess - now that we're in before you can access all the amazing high-quality stations that I know there are not even on, I noticed that I started as a TV anymore. Not good for my reading and movie watching habitsbut very instructive all the same.
If a movie or TV fan and you want to connect to the Internet quickly and reliably 24x7, go with fiberglass - if it's available in your area.
